1. No Account Required
Wörterbuch does not require you to create an account with an email, username, or password. There is therefore no traditional “account deletion” process.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
Your dictionary history, SRS flashcards, practice progress, and app settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to any server.
How to delete it: Uninstalling the app from your device permanently deletes all of this data. You can also reset your progress data from the Settings section within the app.
3. Data Processed on the Server Side
- Chat/scenario messages: When you use the AI chat feature, the messages you type are sent through Cloudflare Workers to the DeepSeek service to generate a response. These messages are processed in real time to generate a reply; the app does not maintain a persistent chat history database.
- Purchase/subscription information: If you have a subscription, your subscription status is managed via RevenueCat using an anonymous device identifier. This identifier is not linked to personal information such as your name or email.
- Advertising identifier: Google AdMob may process your device's Advertising ID to serve ads.
4. Requesting Deletion
If you have an additional deletion request regarding the server-side data described above, you can contact us at:
Email: mdburakkilic@gmail.com
Please mention the app name (Wörterbuch) in your request. Your request will be reviewed within a reasonable time and any relevant data we hold (if any) will be deleted.
5. Retention Periods
- On-device data: remains on your device until the app is uninstalled.
- Chat messages: processed in real time to generate a response; not permanently stored by the app.
- Subscription/anonymous identifier data: retained by RevenueCat for as long as your subscription is active.
